Magic tricks were once a huge source of amazement for those young and old but performing them at home for friends and relatives has mainly become a forgotten-about art. However, it is still possible to buy magic tricks from lots of stores nationwide, and there are masses of magic tricks to be bought from shops on the internet, if you wish to have a go at wowing your friends and relatives.
Some of the most effective magic tricks can be achieved with a basic pack of cards, with acts including predicting the next cards to be drawn from the pack, or knowing exactly what card the participant is holding. The accessories are essential to your act as you need to try and distract your audience's attention as much as possible by making them look at your outfit or the wand in your hand. Tutorial items, such as DVDs or text guides are also important so that you can perform your magic tricks to the full potential and make sure you get them perfect every time.
